MomColoredGlasses.com was created in October 2010 by three West Michigan moms - sisters Rachel Hammond and Renae Wortz and their friend, Maggie Terryn. What started as a small creative project has grown into a robust and lively website that now includes 12 regular contributors from around the country. MomColoredGlasses is more than just another mom blog. It is a collaborative website with a broad range of topics to inspire creative, holistic and well-informed living, and is a platform for moms of all backgrounds to share their stories. On any given day at MomColoredGlasses, you could find a delicious recipe, practical and fun green living tips, a mom’s unique adoption story...and much more! Since 2009, former teacher Melody VanderWeide has kept the pulse on local Grand Rapids kid & family activities at GRKIDS.com, GR’s Online Family Guide.  This local website features an extensive event calendar, blog, and active facebook page, as well as a social savings program (PERKS) for families.  Melody is mom to 3 delightful kids and encourages families to spend their free time exploring and playing together in Grand Rapids.  When she’s not driving carpool you’ll find her on facebook or lurking on twitter @grkids.

Jennifer Rees lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan and is the author of BigBinder, a blog for parents in Grand Rapids encouraging others to engage in cultural, culinary, and fun activities and events with their kids. Jill Anderson began blogging at The Diaper Diaries in 2007. Her blog details her journey through motherhood as a stay at home mom to three awesome kids as well as shares helpful tips and product reviews that are relevant to her life. In addition to her personal blog, she and her husband have been teaching marriage preparation classes since 2002 and are regular contributors to their local Fox News stations as relationship experts.
